Cut

Laser cutting

Our laser cutting stands for the highest quality in sheet metal processing. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, we manufacture components with very high precision and a particularly small cutting width – for fine details and minimal material waste.

You benefit from clean, burr-free cut edges and low thermal interference (HAZ), which reduces rework. We can process thin to medium sheet thicknesses at high speed – efficiently and reliably.

This technology is ideally suited for complex contours and intricate, demanding geometries. Depending on the laser source, we can cut materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Cutting performance at a glance:

Material: Standard steels, aluminum, stainless steel
Maximum sizes and thicknesses: 4.000 x 2.000 mm
Steel 25 mm / Stainless steel 20 mm / Aluminum 15 mm
Tube laser: Maximum diameter 360 mm
Maximum thickness 15 mm
Maximum length 9.000 mm

Plasma and oxyfuel cutting

With our combined plasma and oxyfuel cutting, we offer the ideal solution for a wide range of sheet metal thicknesses – fast, robust, and cost-effective.

Plasma cutting excels in the medium sheet thickness range thanks to its high cutting speed, reliable cut quality, and universal applicability to conductive metals. Compared to laser cutting, the cut is slightly coarser, the heat-affected zone is larger, and the kerf is wider – but this is completely unproblematic for many applications. A clear advantage remains its high cost-effectiveness.

Oxyfuel cutting (flame cutting) is the best choice for very thick materialsup to 160 mm sheet thickness in our case. The process is robust and reliable, but slower and involves greater thermal stress, which can lead to distortion or warping. Only unalloyed and low-alloy steels can be cut; the cut surface is rough, but the technique is particularly durable and proven
